FIRE SAFETY - An Employer's Responsibility Fire Training Awareness Courses Did you know it is now a legal requirement for you, as an employer, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005 inplemented in october 2006, to ensure that all members of your staff are adequately trained in the proper use of your fire safety equipment? Our Staff in the company conducts the Fire Training Courses we provide. He has been conducting these courses for a number of years and has conducted this function for the Youth Hostel Association, Hanson Aggregates Ltd, The National Trust and Howmet Limited, to name but a few. Our Training Courses are all-inclusive including all recharges. Please call for a personal apprasail of your needs and a quotation, The course takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours and consists of: A general talk with flip chart Video "Know your extinguishers" A Questionnaire - multiple choice on paper All answers and discussion session Video "Fire and Safety at Work" "Hands On" use of fire extinguishers Certificates are issued upon completion to all that attend. We advise that the number of those attending should be restricted to between 5-18 persons. However, if two or more sessions are conducted in one day to accommodate a larger number of staff, we can reduce the cost of each session. We also recommend that these sessions be held annually in accordance with the above regulations as well as keeping you and your staff informed of any new legislation. Alternatively use our online programme and recieve a comprehensive training and examination to comply with the current legislation.
